I believe my profound love for wild nature and education towards a sustainable future are the reasons for the start of this blog.
I (and perhaps my entire generation) have been growing up with an incessant flow of information regarding several different ways one can do to prevent global warming. I feel sometimes, due to the fact that information is not always spread in the most precise way, a struggle trying to cope my daily life decisions with my moral duties to "save this planet".
A book gifted from a friend "Drawdown" was what triggered me to start this project as a personal way of putting information together and organize my ideas on this topic. I am still uncertain about the path this blog will take, but for now the idea is to write small posts with short resumes (well referenced) and analysis about what most attracted me in this book and that I feel are worth to dig deeper and share. One of the main objectives is then, to allow me to organize well documented facts and hopefully bring me peace of mind when taking a flight or buying a salad with a disposable plastic container at the supermarket.
Maybe in this process I'll find a topic that really captures my interest so I decide to focus my attention on that, or maybe I'll just enjoy the process of covering several topics with a broader approach, we'll see.
For now I'll only add that I'm excited to see where this will lead.
